Among the Birch Treesby `thienbao

A pretty old piece...you can probably tell it was fall when i painted it

. Conceptually, it didn't make it, but technically, i'm happy.

I got my sister to pose for this one to get the anatomy and clothing right. The dress is a traditional Vietnamese dress call Ao Dai. All the school girls wore it in the old days, now they're mainly worn for special occasions. Anyways, looked at plenty of pics of birch trees and then set off to do my own stuff with them.

Ohh men. Im very sorry with you. You dont understand what you losing if you say this didnt make it conceptually. What I have seen until today this peace got the most warm feeling ever. I has something very root traditional from good old culture. I wish you to do more works like this one!
