I felt the need for a speed paint. I don't do those very often, but the urge was too strong. Ultimately, I wanted to make a new desktop for myself, now you all can use it too.

Enjoy!

Photoshop+tablet...about 45min.


p.s. yes, the snow is going against the wind...not used to speed painting, gotta get my head in order next time.

I know the snow is going against the wind but I really like the tension it adds to the piece - like... it's something you wouldn't necessarily notice right away but you get this feeling of "wrongness" that actually adds to the emotion of the imagery.

The contrast between the dark and light and hard and soft edges is well done! I'm really enjoying your speedpaints!
