You truly captured a great amount of light and shadow in detail on your model in such a quick time, I'd say you more than did your model justice with this piece!

okej, so I've just gone through your entire gallery, and I'm absolutely blown away by your talent, some of your artwork is simply exquisite, I've rarely seen anything like it, thank you for sharing it with the world ;)

excellent job for only one hour. i will be doing my first life drawing class when we get back from spring break. one difference is we have to use oil paint to do the drawing. any pointers on doing a life drawing?

Great render for such a short time constraint.

Hello. What kind of paper is that? I purchased a small conte pencil set from Dick Blick and was wondering if I need any specialty paper. Any tips for techniques/execution? Is conte similar to color pencil or is it more like pastel?

It's Canson Mi-teintes paper, and yes, Conte is more chalky like dry pastel, while color pencils are more waxy. You don't need any special paper, but something with more tooth would be more suitable for conte.

Would watercolor paper work? Would I need some type of fixative? Thanks for replying back by the way.
