Also, currently in my aunt's house in Nijmegen, Holland. Staying for about a week and a half. I want to get some prints set up, finally. I've been horrible at doing that.

Your still life work is gorgeous. It looks so quick and effortless! I like painterly effects.

Do you put a coloured ground down first - and do you wait for layers of oils to dry, or work it all in one shot?

I put a thin wash down to cover the white. This one was just Burnt Siena. I also do the sketch with the same color and then paint everything in one go. I like working wet in wet for these small pieces.
