August 6, turned 22 today. Thought i would drop in to all the wonderful comments and note I received. Been kinda here and there trying to finish some commissions.
This was done relatively recent, something with yellow. It turned out to be a fun little exercise painting gold.
Btw, I got my computer all pimped out, so look for a video tutorial sometime, should be fun
Im sorta in two minds about that gold, it looks amazing, but i think its a bit to sharp for the rest of the pic. But I do like its sharpness as it is a good capture of gold.
I think her face is so well done the gold sorta detracts from it a bit. Hope you know know what I mean.
It's my birthday, too! I'm only 19, though, not a particularly exciting age...
Anyways, gorgeous drawing! So emotive... her skin looks gorgeous. I've been reading Fablehaven and she is just what I had in mind when they were talking about their fairies. Very beautiful job.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
