A 3 hour self-portrait assignment in painting class, but i decided to finish it. All in all, it took about 5 to 6 hours.


I wanted it to feel a bit "off", a little menacing if you will. This was why i chose this pose, plain and maybe simple, but direct. I'm very pleased with the results.


Oil on panel, 16in x 20in.
