Shoelacesby `thienbao

The third and final edition to my mini series "Censorship". So, first off, why shoelaces? well, i guess my logic (besides the message of the series) was that the first two was associated with clothing, buttons for shirts, zipper for pants, and shoelaces for shoes. It's pretty seperate from the whole concept, but i had to tie in the three paintings somehow and that was the best way.

Again, the laces was a pain, not the texture itself, but just placing it so that it looks right. It looks pretty right in my opinion.

Love the laces texture--although I would've thought snaps would've been a good ear cover.

I know, hindsight, right? I'm also a Fashion major, so I guess all I worry about is stuff like that.

Ha, how about Velcro for something.

kinda reminds me of the idea of "see no evil hear no evil, speak no evil" except the ear isn't totally covered to stop hearing it.
