This is a piece commissioned by , his character Cera, whose twin is Jonec
. It took quite a while, especially with school going on at the time, but it was finally done a couple of days ago. Not much to say, except I was asked to go all out with what I could do, so I did just that. It was a great experience, though there was some confusion with depicting the "Shadow", but I finally got it the way he wanted.
Several references for moths, sky, and the figures, used myself as I always do. Done in photoshop+wacom tablet.

Enjoy you guys!

Gorgeous :) I think you could stretch out the clouds near the top of the picture due to perspective, everything else is spot on.

Amazingly beautiful painting! What's the story behind it? Why is she so sad and why is he afraid of te sun?

And thine eyes tear rays of the sun
that douse the earth in such celestial light
while behind their glare lay a hidden life.
Aah! That "Shadow" scared me as I scrolled down XD
Excellent :D
Very, very well done. Pushing envelopes is a very good thing.
