The Late Dawn by thienbao The Late Dawn by thienbao
This is a piece commissioned by , his character Cera, whose twin is Jonec
. It took quite a while, especially with school going on at the time, but it was finally done a couple of days ago. Not much to say, except I was asked to go all out with what I could do, so I did just that. It was a great experience, though there was some confusion with depicting the "Shadow", but I finally got it the way he wanted.
Several references for moths, sky, and the figures, used myself as I always do. Done in photoshop+wacom tablet.

Close-ups can be found here [link]
Enjoy you guys!

double images and juxaposition between the two figures, the way the cape blends with the sky is beautiful.

it kindof creeped me out when I noticed the (man) hiding in the hill under her!! I love this one though, the colors are amazing and her face is so sad, I love the butterflies!

The details and colors in this are enthralling. Overall a very beautiful piece. And when I noticed the second figure, I about jumped out of my skin because I didn't see it at first. heh

I'm a sucker for colors and textures like these. And your anatomy is excellent! I totally feel in love with Cera's facial expression. That longing look that she yearns for something she can't have...its mesmerizing. She also seems like the opposite of Jonec where the anger is his face makes him look sorta deformed.

Very beautiful background too. No words would do justice to such fine art. You are a total pro with your skills. :deviation: :+fav:
