Hey guys, I apologize once again for not being around so much. Anyways, it's all due to school work and work, and up till a couple of weeks ago, i was feeling "artistically depressed", whatever that means.
So, the story for this one goes like this, "so I went to the fields one day to take some photos and stumpled upon this creature. Luckily, i was able to take a shot before it flew away"(sorry for the lack of creativity)"_".
This is a continuation of my "bird people" series, after "Turaco" of course.
Hope you enjoy yourselves.
Thanks for hanging around! Rock On!!
Again it has very good looking soft light/porcellain look (especially feathers on his/hers head). Such light really suits to the bird people, because it makes them look even more fantastic and untouchable.
Concerning the field of flowers, it has very nice effect how you emulated shallow depth of field. It's a question if those flowers in the distance (those blurred ones in the upper side of image) shouldn't be representated by little bit smaller spots. Just because of perspective.
Awsome! Such a weird intruiging looking character. Great colours! I know how it feels to be "artistically depressed", I felt like that a few weeks ago and it lasted ages before I was able to paint again.
I really like your bird people series and love the eyes you paint. Here they are alive and lovely, too
Keep up the good work and have inspiration, whenever your duties let you paint
I love your birdwomen. You do such an amazing job of giving them birdlike features but preserving their overall beauty. Her eye is so bright and alert, just like bird. ^_^ Beauty job on matching the color of the feathers around her eyes with the field of flowers.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
