Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

So, i will now have to call the first round of commission done, because someone had to pull out unfortunately, and i'm gonna move on with another commission. When that's done, i'll start a second round, and hopefully you'll all be back

so, a lil story on "Fro", mostly for

So, one of my jobs is scanning documents for various clients, and one day, i was scanning stacks of private documents, then this caught my eye

Now, i scan hundreds of pages at a time, and i had no idea why one of those "pictures" was the one that stopped me. So, now guess which one was the main inspiration for "Fro":] Anyways, i made a copy of it, then sketched it there, then went home to paint it, so there you go, The Story.lol
